You Can Thrive After Breast Cancer

Even after a traumatizing diagnosis and treatments that may have harmful side effects, You Can Thrive!

You Can Thrive! Foundation has a wide mission statement with the overall goal being the alleviation of psychosocial and physical distress by using patient centered programs to promote healing and better health after breast cancer. Our professionals encourage survivors by providing a long-term ‘survivorship plan’ including; education, nutritional risk reduction, wellness services and peer support . Following conventional treatment, many cancer survivors lack a follow-up prevention plan. We are bridging the gap between treating the cancer and treating the 'whole person'.

You Can Thrive! connects qualified humanitarian volunteers and provides a venue for them to serve community survivors who learn to manage and conquer the difficulties and obstacles inherent in all phases of breast cancer through evidence based therapies and other patient centered quality of life programs. Together we illustrate that with good information, and access to integrative resources, advocacy, and a safe place with comfortable surroundings can support breast cancer survivors to continue healing at all stages of the journey.

The Institute of Medicine found that once active treatment ends, many cancer survivors are left with no healthcare plan for the future. While the number of cancer survivors has tripled over the last 30 years due to advancements in early detection and treatment, the study indicates that cancer patients are left without a "survivorship plan". Since security is so important to overcome the fear that comes tandem with a diagnosis, You Can Thrive! creates long-term survivorship plans to benefit patient well-being and improve quality of life.

Our organization offers multi-lingual volunteers, support and education to promote healthy practices and empower survivors to become a catalyst for continued healing at every stage of the journey through life after breast cancer. We welcome all members of our 'sisterhood' and every portion of that demographic is represented in our wellness center.

Community partnerships mean so much to us, and we wish to thank everyone involved for their generosity. If you wish make an appointment, become a benefactor, community partner or to get more information please
